Ready, Set, Mod. Learn how to create mods on the popular game Minecraft®!
In this course your children will learn how to create and actually implement their own custom mods on Minecraft while also learning how to code in Java programming language, a language that is used for programming worldwide and by the actual developers themselves!
The tutor, Marshall Canon, is a veteran software developer and game designer who has developed several games for mobile game startup Runner-Up Studios. Marshall oversees the curriculum design team and heads up the online division where he develops new and exciting ways to introduce young students to video game programming and game design.

What is Java?
Java is the most popular programming software out there. All of Android applications are created using Java. Due to it being out for as long as it has been, there are now endless tools to help you create whatever it is you want. Although the language may seem daunting at the start, after learning the basics your will quickly be able to accelerate your knowledge and expand your possibilities.
