This course is designed for those who are curious about incorporating a meditation practise into their life, and aren’t sure what to do or where to start.
Our course is here to help you learn about how meditation works, how you can use it to improve your life, and to learn about the history of meditation.
Each section included in this Successful Meditation course includes an in-depth introduction and overview video, and gives you action steps you can take at the end of the section to fully embody your learning.
These are the sections included in this course:
Section 1 – In Section 1, you will learn about what makes meditation successful and the potential benefits of meditation. You will be able to notice the hurdles that get in the way of your meditation practise, and how to get rid of these hurdles and establish a regular meditation practise that works for you.
Section 2 – In Section 2, we will work on a 10 minute ‘barely guided’ meditation to get you started and jump in straight away. You will be able to follow along with this guided meditation any way that you want and feels good to you, and notice how it makes you feel.
Section 3 – In Section 3, we will be taking a look at some of the key Vedic frameworks that support meditation including dharma, karma, and reincarnation. We will be looking at Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras, and learning about how meditation fits into the inner goal of human life. As well as this we will be diving into the 8-limbs of traditional yoga.
Section 4 – In Section 4, we will be focusing on the 5 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space) and how you can incorporate them into your meditation practise. We will also learn about how you can make your body feel comfortable, so that you can deepen and lengthen your meditations.
Section 5 – In Section 5, we will get more into guided meditation. You will be able to follow along with 10 minute guided meditations, and allow yourself to notice the changes and the feeling that meditation now gives you.
Section 6 – In Section 6, we will continue focusing on you and your path with meditation and nearing the end of the course!
Section 7 – In Section 7, you will be given resources and supplementary materials that will help you on your inner journey and help you once this course is done.
